Mission Peak Historical Foundation provides tours of the Shinn House on the first Wednesday and Third Sunday of each month from 1-3 PM. Board meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Shinn House at 7:15 PM, the public is invited to attend. The grounds are open from sunrise to sunset. Group tours are available by arrangement. The grounds can be rented from the City of Fremont by calling (510) 790-5541.

WEDDING OR PARTY INFORMATION

The city must be called to rent the park for weddings and parties at the Fremont Visitors Center 510-790-5541 located at Lake Elizabeth. After the reservation is confirmed by the city, the person calls Joan Serafino at 510-795-0891 to book the docents to open the Shinn House. During the event our docents, dressed in Victorian attire, will give the guests a guided tour of the house. You are allowed to take all the photos you want. It adds a special element to your event by having the house open. The fee for having the Mission Peak Heritage Foundation Docents at the Shinn House is $100. this fee is tax deductable as we are a non profit organization.
